Aspect Family Learning & Support
The specialist support provided by the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service is charged at $150 per hour.
This support helps families manage priorities and build their child's skills in communication, language, social interactions and independent living as well as manage behaviours.
Support is provided via telephone, online, workshops or in person (where available).
Flexible service options can be tailored to meet each family's needs depending on resources.
AutismPro
The AutismPro software can provide you with up to 40 hours a week of activities based on 8 objectives.
We generally suggest to families that they choose 2 or 3 objectives to work on with their child, which requires a time commitment of approximately 10 to 15 hours each week. These objectives can be worked on:
- in the home
- at preschool or daycare
- or in association with your child's school.
Parents can do the activities with their own child, or they can be delivered by other team members, such as teachers or therapists.
Families who do not feel they can commit to this workload either choose not to purchase AutismPro or they purchase the licence and choose to focus on only one objective at a time, taking the time commitment down to only 5 hours per week.
The initial consultation to set up your child's case on AutismPro takes between 1 and 1.5 hours. We then suggest additional consulations one and two months later.
Prior to making a decision to purchase AutismPro, it is recommended that you:

Cost for a 6 month licence $945
Initial AutismPro licence for 6 months, including initial setup consult and 2 additional consultations with the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service.
Cost for a 12 month licence $1296
Initial AutismPro licence for 12 months, including initial setup consult and 2 additional consultations with the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service.
Renewal Rates for an AutismPro licence:
Additional 6 months $445
Additional 12 months $890
These rates are for a licence renewal only and do not include the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service. When you renew a licence, you can continue to access the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service at a rate of $150 per hour.
Paying for AutismPro and the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service
You can pay privately for the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service and AutismPro. Alternatively, the provider of these programs, Aspect, is a registered provider under the Australian Federal Government's 'Helping Children With Autism' package.
Under this package, the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) are distributing funding to families whose child has been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and is under seven years of age. If you have access to this funding, you can use it to pay for AutismPro and/or the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service.

FaHCSIA Form Downloads
Clients using FaHCSIA funding to access AutismPro of the Aspect Family Learning & Support Service need to complete FaHCSIA forms A, B and C when they first register for the service. Please contact us by phone or email and we will email or post you the forms.
Once completed, these can be faxed or emailed in to AutismPro, but original signed forms must then be posted in as well. This is a FaHCSIA requirement.
